WAKING OR SLEEPING

How will our Lord find us....will we be asleep and allow the enemy to come in and steal and destroy? Or will we be awake and watching for the coming of our Lord? Will we watch and wait?

God bless you all today as you light up your lamps and set them up upon the Rock!

Enjoy this as we remember who the Lord is to us. Today, Tomorrow and Forever.

Awake Ye Sleeping GIANTS!

Where have we gone wrong? What have we been unable to achieve? what are our shortcomings? There are many explanations and excuses for our inept failures....but there should be no explanation for our own personal failure to stand for God and Holiness! The idea that it's OK not to involve yourself in leadership and influential matters is complete folly! We are called to lead, build and proclaim the Kingdom of our LORD JESUS CHRIST! How will we do that if we cower in fear every time the devil challenges us? How will we stand strong and courageous if we don't prepare ourselves for the battle that's coming if we don't faithfully pray and read God's word? The devil is a liar....its time God's victorious Army stands up and fights back. The devil will not win, he is defeated in Jesus name!

I say we bring down every man or woman who claims to be God's servant while falsely propagating Unscriptural doctrines, we ought to call them out. Not sit back and pretend that they don't influence our society.

"Evil may prevail elsewhere, BUT it will not prevail in my Sphere of Influence."

MIGHTY WARRIORS

Mighty Warriors
The List of David’s mighty warriors in 1 Chronicles 11:22introduces us to Benaiah, whose exploits included overcoming two of Moab’s best men. He also killed a lion in a snowy, slippery pit. Perhaps most amazingly, he took on an Egyptian tall enough to be a starting center for the Chicago Bulls. This seven-and-a-half-foot giant wielded a spear with a shaft as sturdy as a lead pipe while Benaiah had only a wooden club.
Even so … Benaiah “snatched the spear from the Egyptian’s hand and killed him with his own spear. Such were the exploits of Benaiah son of Jehoiada … He was held in greater honor than any of the Thirty” (1 Chronicles 11:23–25).
It was not a Ph.D. degree that brought honor to a person in those days. Honor did not necessarily flow to the person with money or leverage or media access. Honor came as a result of doing exploits for the king.
Who is doing exploits for God today? Where is the enemy being driven back? That is the great yearning of all spiritually minded people. They are not enchanted with polished sermons and slick organizational technique. Where are the mighty men and women anointed by God to truly make a difference?
What is it really that stops us from becoming mighty warriors in the Lord? God has not changed. He is still superior to anything the enemy can throw against us.
No personal or church situation is too hopeless for the all-sufficient power of the Holy Spirit. God will be no more eager to act tomorrow than he is right now. He is waiting for us to take his promises seriously and go boldly to the throne of grace. He wants us to meet the enemy at the very point of attack, standing against him in the name of Christ. When we do so, God will back us up with all the resources of heaven.

To Take Away
  • What keeps people from stepping out in faith for the Lord and the cause of Christ?
  • Do you trust that God is superior to anything the enemy might bring against you? How does this assurance manifest itself in your life?
  • What would it take for you to trust God’s promises more fully and thereby become a “mighty warrior in the Lord”?

FAITH

Do you ever feel like you are not doing enough for Christ?

Because I feel like that every day......I wonder if my life is pleasing to Jehovah. If I'm a servant that follows faithfully! Whether my faith in Him is because of circumstances, lack or pain? I pray that I faithfully serve Him who gave His life for me; In SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH....

JOHN 4:23-24
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

DEUTERONOMY 6:4-5
4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one![b] 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Lord teach me to Love you with all of my Heart, all of my Soul and with all of my Strength!!!!

THE SALT AND THE LIGHT

John 3: 19-21
19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

This is the condemnation of what will happen as told by our Lord! There is soo much darkness and wickedness as seen in our churches and leadership. BUT His light has come into the World! We are mandated to be those who shine forth HIS LIGHT....

John 4: 13-14
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

The water that Christ invites us to partake will spring off from within us into everlasting life, life that is abundant, life that will change others as they see the work of Christ in us.
What the bible tell us about being ready and prepared. What must we do?

1 John 2:12-14

12 I write to you, little children,
Because your sins are forgiven you for His name’s sake.
13 I write to you, fathers,
Because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men,
Because you have overcome the wicked one.
I write to you, little children,
Because you have known the Father.
14 I have written to you, fathers,
Because you have known Him who is from the beginning.
I have written to you, young men,
Because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you,
And you have overcome the wicked one.

Why? God has called us as young people because the word of God abides in us...we have a duty and a responsibility to be true to Our Lord. We see things happening around us, we know they are wrong but are usually weak to do anything about it. Pray for courage, boldness and the strength to do what is right!
Who will call upon God for our redemption? Who will stand on the gap for this nation? Who will ask for Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness???
The young men and women of our time will. Shake off the comfort items that have soo blinded us to the call of Christ, shake off those things that blind you from your true purpose in God.

Ezekiel 22:30
30 So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.

Psalm 106:23

23 Therefore He said that He would destroy them,
Had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach,
To turn away His wrath, lest He destroy them.

We need the Shadracks, Meshack's and Abednegos of our Nation to come forth and refuse to bow down to the idols. To stand up and be counted as the righteous of the Lord....God has given us a great mandate. One that we take way too lightly. Like it dosen't matter. But we should know that we Born Again Believers hold the future of our Nation in our hands! The Lord said that we are Salt of the World...The Light of the World

Matthew 5:13-16

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Luke 8:16
16 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.

May we be Doers of the Word and not Hearers only! God bless you this week as you continue to Worship Him in Truth and in Spirit.

WHY DO I.......

Has it ever occured to you that when you think you know something that's usually when you realise you even don't know the half of it? The past few weeks have been filled with questions about where I'm headed, what the end goal for my life? What makes me wake up each and every morning? Why do I go to church? Why do I attend the small bible study that I attend?
Why? Because if  I can't answer those questions in an honest bold way then I have no reason to be alive, to pretend that I know who I am, and to speak before others as if  'I KNOW'
My life is a sum total of all those things and many more, but I have been doing all that because others before me did the same, I'm in a wheel with no idea where I'm headed and why I'm headed there. Look into your life, really look and ask yourself that question, WHY?
I pray we all find the Purpose and Will of God for our Lives and that we start living in that Will and Purpose!

What Does God Expect of us.

There many instances in scripture which clearly tell and show God's expectations of each and everyone of us.
One of my favorite has to be Micah 6:8, it say's....

 He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?

Which begs the question, how often do we live our lives in accordance with that verse while acknowledging God in all that we do? When we wake up each morning to go to work, whether in an office somewhere, a market place, a duka, a school or wherever, do we "walk humbly with our God?" Are we full of righteousness and Justice?
Ask yourselves this questions even as we go through another week and may our actions, thoughts and plans all Glorify the Lord. Our King and GOD. May our faith be Hot and full of Salt.
I fear we have so watered down our Faith and commitment to Christ that we are more than ready to compromise every time we are called upon to act as ambassadors of Christ than our Christian forefathers were. If we don't become 'Like the Dew from the Lord' then we have failed. Therefore lets live our lives boldly and courageously for our Lord and Saviour.

Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

A Remnant

What is a remnant?

Definition of REMNANT

1
a : a usually small part, member, or trace remaining b : a small surviving group —often used in plural
2
: an unsold or unused end of piece goods

Now that we understand what that means, here comes the Eternal Question, Are you a Remnant of God? Will you be the last small surviving group for God in this generation and time? When He calls will He find you ready? Will you be a branch connected to the TRUE VINE? Will your light so shine that men give glory to God?

We are the Remnants of God in these perverse and corrupt generation, we are the Voice of Christ in this last days.

God bless you all as we take up our position and Armour.
