One of my favorite has to be Micah 6:8, it say's....
He has shown you, O man,
what is good;
And what does
the Lord
require of youBut to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
Which begs the question, how often do we live our lives in accordance with that verse while acknowledging God in all that we do? When we wake up each morning to go to work, whether in an office somewhere, a market place, a duka, a school or wherever, do we "walk humbly with our God?" Are we full of righteousness and Justice?
Ask yourselves this questions even as we go through another week and may our actions, thoughts and plans all Glorify the Lord. Our King and GOD. May our faith be Hot and full of Salt.
I fear we have so watered down our Faith and commitment to Christ that we are more than ready to compromise every time we are called upon to act as ambassadors of Christ than our Christian forefathers were. If we don't become 'Like the Dew from the Lord' then we have failed. Therefore lets live our lives boldly and courageously for our Lord and Saviour.
Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded
by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the
sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance
the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus,
the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was
set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down
at the right hand of the throne of God.
